When you hear the words buttery croissants, chic cafes, Eiffel Tower, or the Louvre, what do they make you think of? That’s right, the beautiful and amazing country of France!
If you have ever wanted to visit France, here is your chance! FJ Europe Tours is offering a tour package in France, specifically, in two cities: Paris and Toulouse. From the 1st - 10th of December (with the return date being December 10th), you will spend nine days getting to see these wondrous cities; viewing many amazing sights, visiting extraordinary places, and staying in comfortable, welcoming hotels.
For the first day of your trip (December 1st) you will arrive in Paris, check into your hotel, and take the rest of the day to acquaint yourself with your surroundings. There is nothing planned for the first day as the activities will begin on December 2, so take the day for yourself and explore a little bit of one of Europe’s most famous capitals.
From December 2 - 4 you will explore the city of Paris through doing various activities. In these days you will get to see the Eiffel Tower, France’s most iconic landmark. You will get to visit the Louvre Museum which is filled with exquisite, enchanting pieces of art that are both ancient and recent. You will also have the chance to see the Musée d'Orsay museum, which is known for its Impressionist art, as well as taking a trip to the Vaux-le-Vicomte Palace.
On the fifth day of your stay you will travel (either by plane or train) to the city of Toulouse. It is a city which is located in the south of France, and near the border of Andorra. You will spend two days in Toulouse (December 5th-6th). While there you will visit the Cité de l'Espace and take a tour of the Airbus factory. The Cité de l'Espace is a theme park whose focus is on space and science. There you will have interactive experiences, visit laboratories and observatories, and experience other fun and educational activities! At the Airbus factory you will get to learn more about aircraft and how it is manufactured.
But that is not all that you shall be doing: from the 7th - 9th of December you will be visiting Geneva, Switzerland! On the seventh day of the trip, you will take either a flight or a train from Toulouse to Geneva. When you arrive you will use your first day there to check into your hotel and relax. The following day you will spend the morning at CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research). In the afternoon you will have the chance to explore the city of Geneva: its lake (Lake Geneva) and the old town. On the ninth and final day of your tour you will start the day off with a trip to Geneva’s chocolate factory, a place filled with various sorts of chocolates that you shall get to see – and maybe even taste! In the afternoon you will visit Geneva’s historical museums and learn more about this amazing city.
On the tenth day you will have a last chance to explore the city, buy souvenirs for either yourself or your loved ones, and then will fly back home.
Speaking from my own, personal experiences, visiting any other country besides your own is an experience that you will never forget! You get to experience a new culture, will get to visit and see breathtaking landmarks, views, and architecture, and you will get to learn the history of another country.
